
Sandra Couot studied accordion and piano at the Harmonia School of Music. She furthered her musical training through numerous intensive courses and masterclasses, studying accordion with distinguished musicians including Carlos Iturralde, Miren Agurne Iñarga, Iñaki Alberdi, and Vladimir Zubitsky, and piano with renowned pianists such as Stanislav Pochekin and Xavier Dols.
Throughout her early career, she received multiple Gold Medals and Championship Cups at the European Accordion Championships, winning awards in the Children’s, Junior, and Junior Duo categories. In 1993, she joined the Harmonia Accordion Orchestra, with which she won the European Cup in the Orchestra category in 1995. As a member of the ensemble, she also participated in the recording of four CDs.
Between 1998 and 2002, she performed throughout Italy as a member of the Fisorchestra Città di Osimo, and in 2004 appeared with the orchestra in collaboration with the RAI Orchestra.
Alongside her performing career, she has worked as an educational assistant at the French Nursery School in Canillo and at the Andorran Secondary School in Encamp. Since 2002, Sandra Couot has been a member of the organizing team of the International Music Course, serving as Jury Secretary and Executive Secretary of the prestigious Principality of Andorra International Piano Competition.
Since 2003, she has also been a children’s music educator at the Harmonia School of Music.
